Il Buco Vita grows out of Il Buco, the beloved New York restaurant whose table has always been set with objects gathered from across Italy. Everything is made by hand by artisans, from Umbrian ceramics and hand-blown glass to pantry staples like hand-harvested sea salt, each carrying the small imperfections of real handwork.

The Collepino Twisted Beeswax Candle is a sculptural take on the traditional duplero, the double-wick candle style used across Italy since medieval times. The hand-twisted form catches light from every angle.
Made entirely by hand from 100% pure natural beeswax with untreated hemp wicks. Each candle carries a natural honey scent that shifts subtly with the seasons, the wild-harvested pollen in the wax changes throughout the year, and the candles change with it.
Keep away from flammable materials and burn in a well ventilated space. As the hemp wicks are untreated, the flame burns large. Be sure to trim the wick before each use to prolong burning time and minimize flame size. Extinguish with a wick snuffer if possible.
Most in-stock items ship within 2–4 business days. Fragile pieces are carefully packed, and we'll replace anything that arrives damaged.

All of our tableware is food-safe. We recommend hand-washing handmade ceramics and glass to preserve the finish, and avoiding sudden temperature changes.
