Schwung is a design house with the heart of a collector and the hands of a maker. Alongside its own designs, it gathers an evolving family of objects meant to bring warmth and pleasure to everyday spaces, chosen for their material honesty and their ability to age well.
The collected side of Schwung is exactly that: striking European and Asian antiques and hand-shaped artisanal objects, sourced with a careful eye. The vintage vessels, glazed jars, and woven baskets we carry each arrive with the marks of their making and their years, small imperfections that are the whole point.
Each is a vintage or antique object, hand-shaped and glazed by makers of its era and sourced from regions such as Europe and Asia.
Dust gently and wipe with a soft, dry cloth; treat older glazes and fibers kindly and keep them out of standing water unless noted.
