Standard Affair was founded in 2025 by stylist Kira Corbin, who set out to translate the fleeting beauty of editorial photoshoots into objects made for everyday living. Drawing on her Portuguese heritage, she looked to Portugal and its centuries-old ceramics tradition to find the right makers.
Each piece is crafted from glazed stoneware, some from recycled clay, blending sustainable manufacturing with the subtle imprint of the human hand. The result is quietly expressive tableware where form and function sit in easy balance, made for the table you actually use.
