Il Buco Vita grows out of Il Buco, the beloved New York restaurant whose table has always been set with objects gathered from across Italy. Everything is made by hand by artisans, from Umbrian ceramics and hand-blown glass to pantry staples like hand-harvested sea salt, each carrying the small imperfections of real handwork.
These are things made to be used: brought to the table, gathered around, and savored.
By hand in Italy, so slight variations in glaze, tone, and form are normal, and part of the character of each piece.
Our tableware is food-safe and dishwasher-safe, although we recommend handwashing ceramics to preserve the finish. Avoid sudden temperature changes, microwaves, and ovens.
Most in-stock items leave our studio within 2–4 business days.
