Fredericks & Mae is a Brooklyn design studio founded by Gabe Cohen and Jolie Mae Signorile, who began collaborating as students at Oberlin and have been making things together ever since. They describe their work as reveling in the art of the gift, where form, function, and fun exist in equal measure.
Each object is designed in their Brooklyn studio and made by hand, from powder-coated iron candle holders to the small, considered goods that have become the studio's signature. The result is pieces with real craft and a sense of play, made to be lived with.
